●      Color Masterbatch

Acts as a dispersant for pigments and a processing lubricant and smoothing agent. Polyethylene wax has strong affinity with various additives and good compatibility with various resins. PE wax coats the surface of pigments, preventing the aggregation and agglomeration of pigment particles, forming a fine and stable colloidal solution that is evenly distributed in the resin. Moreover, PE wax has a high melting point and low melt viscosity, thereby enhancing the flow processability and thermal stability of the color masterbatch. The dosage can range from 5% to 40%, suitable for various types of color masterbatches.

●      Plastic and Rubber Processing

Functions as a lubricant, release agent, and compatibilizer.

PE wax exhibits good compatibility with PE, PP, PVC, ABS, AS, PC, rubber, and others. Due to its high melting point and low viscosity, it promotes good resin flow, relatively reduces the power consumption of resin mixing, minimizes adhesion between the resin and the mold, facilitates easy demolding, and serves as both an internal and external lubricant. It also acts as a dispersant for pigments and offers good anti-static properties.

1.   In PVC processing, it is used internationally as an efficient lubricant, encapsulating agent, and pigment dispersant. Adding 1% can increase PVC processing capacity by 10–15%. In rigid PVC product processing, adding 0.1% is equivalent to the effect of adding 3% of other lubricants. Using PE wax can reduce torque, improve thermal stability, and minimize PVC decomposition during processing. To avoid impairing the transparency of the product, the dosage is best kept below 0.5%.

2.   In ABS and PS processing, add approximately 0.5%.

3.   In rubber processing, it can serve as a lubricant, filler, and plasticizer.

●      Ink

Acts as a dispersant and anti-scuff agent.

Due to its excellent lubricity, glossiness, and good dispersibility for pigments, PE wax is widely used in ink processing to enhance the ink's scuff resistance and brightness. It is first dissolved in heated solvents such as white oil before use. The typical dosage ranges from 0.5% to 2%.

●      Hot Melt Adhesive

Serves as an effective viscosity modifier.
